This policy explains how personal data is handled in relation to this website and the digital channels linked from it. Clinical veterinary activity (medical records, patient follow-up and care documentation) is managed outside this website and is not described here.

Contact form and WhatsApp
The contact form on this website only asks for your name and a message.
That information is processed temporarily in your own browser. Vet4U has no database, proprietary server or API that receives or stores the content of the form, and does not retain what you write in it.
When you continue, your browser opens WhatsApp through a wa.me link with a message containing only your name and your message. You decide whether to press “Send” within WhatsApp.
WhatsApp is an external platform. If you choose to send the message, any processing carried out within that platform is governed by the terms and privacy policy of WhatsApp/Meta, which are separate from Vet4U.
If you write to us on WhatsApp, Vet4U will process the content of the conversation in order to answer your enquiry.
Please do not include clinical information, diagnoses, medication details or other sensitive data in the form. For specific veterinary enquiries, please request an appointment.
Appointment requests on an external platform (Wakyma)
The appointment request button is an external link: when you click it you leave this website and go to the Wakyma platform.
This website does not embed the Wakyma form, does not display it within its pages and does not load Wakyma resources. The data you enter to request an appointment is provided directly on that platform and processed there under its own terms and privacy policy.
Vet4U then manages the requests received from its professional account on that platform. All appointment requests are reviewed and confirmed by Vet4U.

contacto@vet4u.es is a Vet4U contact channel. If you write to that address, the data included in your message will be processed in order to answer your enquiry.
The email service for the vet4u.es domain is contracted as a mail hosting service with DonDominio (Soluciones Corporativas IP, S.L.).
Purposes and legal basis
- Answering the enquiries you send through the form, WhatsApp or email: legitimate interest in replying to those who contact us and, where applicable, pre-contractual steps at the data subject's request (Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Providing the veterinary service requested: performance of the service contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Remembering your choice in the browser local storage notice: legitimate interest in respecting your decision and in the proper functioning of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention
Form data is not retained by Vet4U, as it never reaches any system of ours.
Messages received via WhatsApp or email are kept for as long as necessary to deal with the enquiry and thereafter for any legally required periods. The owner is currently reviewing and documenting the specific retention periods for these channels.
Recipients
Data is not disclosed to third parties except where legally required.
Communication takes place through external platforms and services that process data under their own terms: WhatsApp/Meta, the Wakyma appointment platform and the mail hosting provider DonDominio (Soluciones Corporativas IP, S.L.).
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent where processing is based on it.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
