About Vet4U

An independent veterinary project focused on personalised care, at home and remotely when appropriate.

Agustina Spector, the veterinarian behind Vet4U

I am Agustina Spector, a veterinarian who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA, Argentina) in 2004, with over 20 years of professional experience and more than 2 years practising in Spain.

My work focuses on dogs and cats: clinical diagnostics, preventive medicine, veterinary nutrition, natural feeding, naturopathic approaches and individualised care.

Vet4U grew out of that way of working: an independent veterinary project focused on personalised care, at home and remotely when appropriate.

A vocation that began long before

Agustina Spector as a child, holding a puppy and a kitten in the garden

My bond with animals began long before I became a veterinarian. My father was also a vet and a breeder, so I grew up surrounded by dogs and was in contact with them from a very early age.

I learned early on to watch them closely, to read their gestures and to understand that every animal has its own way of communicating.

During my years at the University of Buenos Aires I combined my studies with work in the veterinary field, and in time that sensitivity became a profession and a way of practising veterinary medicine: listening, observing and understanding the animal as an individual, while also considering the family and the home it lives in.

Before becoming a veterinarian, I was already surrounded by them.

I believe in close, attentive veterinary care, based on the available evidence and adapted to each animal and its environment.

I like to take the time to listen, explain the options and make decisions together with the family, always aiming for responsible, personalised care. Clear information is part of the treatment too.

Care shaped around each animal

All of this shapes the way Vet4U works: home veterinary care, with unhurried consultations in the animal's usual environment, and online follow-up or guidance when remote care is appropriate.

That support includes individualised prevention plans according to species, age and lifestyle, the assessment and formulation of nutritional plans — including natural cooked diets and BARF — and whole-animal care that considers the family as well.
